Joey Barretta is a Ph.D. student studying Politics at the Van Andel Graduate School of Statesmanship at Hillsdale College. His academic interests are centered on the American Founding and the American Civil War. He hopes to write a doctoral dissertation on Frederick Douglass' political thought and the natural right of equality.
Nicholas is a graduate student at St. John's College in Annapolis, MD where he will receive his M.A. in Liberal Arts. He completed his undergraduate work at Ashland University where he was an Ashbrook Scholar studying History & Political Science with minors in Philosophy and Music Composition. He is also an ISI Honors Scholar and a former member of the Ashland Symphony Orchestra.
Joshua Frey is a graduate of the Ashbrook Scholar Program at Ashland University. His senior thesis examined the nature of republicanism in Shakespeare's Rome. He is currently working as a teacher and basketball coach in his hometown of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
James Coyne is a graduate of the Ashbrook Scholar Program at Ashland University. He is a fierce admirer of dogs, beer, and Winston Churchill.
Hayden Eighinger is a graduate of the Ashbrook Scholar Program at Ashland University. His interests include Cleveland sports, the histories of American music and religion, and the writing of Ernest Hemingway.
